Lucy Rivers Bulkeley
Lucy Rivers Bulkeley, FRGS, is the first woman to complete the 7 Summits (climb the highest peak on each continent) and 4 Desert Grand Slam (250km self supported across the Atacama, Gobi, Sahara and Antarctica). She has also successfully skied to the South Pole.

Clare Granger - High Sheriff of North Yorkshire

Clare Granger is a professional artist living and working in Nidderdale and is currently High Sheriff of North Yorkshire. Clare is represented by Cricket Fine Art in London and The Brian Sinfield Gallery in Oxfordshire. She has held several successful London solo shows and will be exhibiting again in Chelsea in 2024. Clare is Patron of Henshaws, the charity supporting people with sight loss and a range of other disabilities, and she is a Champion for IDAS, the charity supporting people affected by domestic abuse. She is also a Governor of Queen Margaret’s School, York. During her time as High Sheriff, Clare has been particularly keen to support the police and those charities which use creativity in the work that they do. Clare read Law at Cambridge University and qualified as a solicitor in 1986. Her combined interest in the Law and the Arts have been instrumental in shaping her year as High Sheriff.

Adam Green
Adam Green studied at St John’s College, Cambridge, the Royal Academy of Music, London, and the National Opera Studio. Winner of the Song Prize at the National Mozart Competition and the Great Elm Competition he was awarded the prestigious Ian Fleming and Sybil Tutton Awards Operatic roles include James Macmillan’s Clemency at the Royal Opera House; Belcore (The Elixir of Love), Arbace (Idomeneo), Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas)at English National Opera to name but a few. Adam is the Founder of the Prison Choir Project, a charity that takes music in its many forms into prisons up and down the country.
